Passionate about working at height, Ana Marisa Correia, a four-time national climbing champion, co-founded HEIGHT PLACES with her husband in 2016. Focused on balancing her professional and family life, Ana places great importance on both safety and style in her day-to-day work.

THE BEGINNING

Ana Marisa Correia began her climbing journey in 1998, more than 26 years ago. Throughout her sporting career, she made her mark by becoming the national climbing champion four times.

It was during a climbing course in 2000 that Ana met her husband, who was the instructor. In 2016, their son António was born, marking a significant milestone that brought a new perspective to her life. At the time, Ana was working in Marketing, leading a fast-paced lifestyle. As her maternity leave came to an end, she felt the need to find a better balance between her professional and family life.

"After my maternity leave, my husband, who had already been working in the field for many years, and I set up HEIGHT PLACES so that we could work while also having time to spend with our son."

Together with her husband, who already had extensive experience in climbing, she founded HEIGHT PLACES, a company specialising in working at height. The aim was clear: to remain professionally active while having the flexibility to be present in their son’s life.

SAFETY AND STYLE

For Ana, appearance has always been important, without ever compromising on safety. It was this search for a combination of style and safety that led her to discover TOWORKFOR, a Portuguese safety footwear brand.
